The Convention is more than classes and inspiring speakers. It’s about exploring the host city. In Chicago we toured our very own Ozzy Sandoval’s alma mater, the IIT School of Architecture, and building, Crown Hall by esteemed Midcentur

This custom residence is inspired as much by its unique setting as the client’s lifestyle. Breaking the structure into smaller parts reduces the mass and establishes a physical connection with the outdoors; access is available from almost any r
This funky lobby offers comfy seats, a chance to pour your own beer, and bright natural light from the huge skylight above. Swipe to see the messy construction phase that came first.

Beautiful details don’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes a clean and simple detail, like the elegant composition of this column and rain chain, can be even more pleasing.
We are getting closer to summer and wonderful long days here in LA. The backyard of this private office building is the perfect place to enjoy a serene evening. Walk up the floating steps and hang out on the expansive deck.
